Origins
In 1961, the Greater Wall Lake Association (GWLA) was formed to encourage the preservation of Wall Lake, to foster a spirit of cooperation among lake residents, and to promote the safe and enjoyable use of our valuable, common resource.
The GWLA is a nonprofit organization, whose Board is a dedicated group of volunteers. The GWLA protects, preserves, and enhances the quality of wall Lake and its watershed through the promotion of responsible and effective environmental and educational policy.
